so, at lunch today, we had hotdogs and those giant goldfish...  keyzia has this bad habit of putting things that she doesn't want on ephraim's high chair tray.

today, she put her lidless cup of water on his tray...  needless to say, that made a huge mess.  then she put her plate on his tray, covered in ketchup...  this is the conversation that ensued.

momma: keyzia, i need you to stop putting things on ephraim's tray.  he's too little and he makes a big mess.  do you understand?

keyzia: (while waving a giant goldfish at me)  the goldfish understands, momma!  the goldfish understands!

when ja got home from work today, he was greeted by a diapered 10 month old and a naked 2 year old.  keyzia had decided to have a naked day today, and quite frankly, since she wasn't hurting anyone, i didn't have any problem with that.

daddy:  hi naked girl!

keyzia:  hi daddy!!  i wanna walk backwards down the hall!

daddy:  hey!  you can't go out there, you're naked!

keyzia:  yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!  (and ran naked down the hall)

((a brief struggle ensued, and ja reeled her back into the apartment))

momma:  you can't run outside when you're naked!  everyone will see your bum.  only momma's and daddy's should see your bum.

keyzia:  look at my bum, daddy!!  ((while shaking it at her daddy!))

daddy:  very nice, honey.
