and he finally has tooth number five!!  poor ephraim has been teething since he was about five months old...  sprouted his top and bottom teeth at virtually the same time just before his first birthday, and now, finally, we have a fifth tooth!  an eye tooth on the right hand side!  wahoo!!

not that not having teeth has slowed him down at all...  the boy eats steak, popcorn, pretzels, chicken nuggets...  you name it, he eats it!

hmmmm...  i wonder who his father is?

keyzia:  are you sad momma?

me:  a little bit...

keyzia:  it's okay momma, i'll give you a biiiiig hug, and a biiiiiig kiss!

me:  i would really like that!

keyzia:  i'm your best friend, momma!!  i like you!

if only she would remember this when she's a teenager!

yesterday we were out at my good friend ange's place, and, as usually happens when a bunch of kids are together, keyzia got whacked on the cheek with a toy.  left a little bruise, no big deal...

this morning when she got up she ran out and said,

keyzia:  look momma!  God fixed my owie!!

me:  he did?  hey!  that's great!!

keyzia: (singing) God has a bandaid!  God put a bandaid on my owie!  God's bandaids!  God's bandaids!  God's bandaids...  God's bandaids!

keyzia:  God's pretty great, isn't he?
