isn't she beautiful??

we are doing this fabulous book at my women in the word group at auburn bible chapel, our fabulous church. it is SO interesting the different ways that you can share your faith, the different people that can be involved in helping someone find and accept God into their lives. connie is doing a great job leading the group, and i really am getting a lot out of it!

i want so badly to share my faith with others... especially my loved ones. it's just such a personal issue for me, my relationship with God, that i have a hard time sharing that. but, this course will hopefully help me to get over that a little!

only time will tell!

this sucks. i hate that to have the car, i have to get up at 6, that's 6 AM to drive ja to work. and, of course, this week i need the car four out of five days!! i really might let him get a truck one day!!

however, there is an upside.... he's going to ask a guy for a ride tomorrow and thursday, and.... duh, da da duuuuu!!! we're getting a countertop dishwasher!! woohoo!!! we're getting it from walmart with the backpay cheque that just came in the mail today. i am so excited about this!! i figure, even if i have to run it twenty times a day, at least i can load and unload it one handed. doing the dishes the "old fashioned" way is certainly not as easy!

ephraim's great gramma knitted him this beautiful sweater.... it is SO soft!!

my sister and i traded cameras this week, and i am now in love with her digital camera!! while nothing seems to beat film, it sure is great for posting pics of things, that's for sure! i started a new album called all of us, and there are also new pics in the best of the beastieand lovin' the leech.

what a crazy couple of days it has been!!

yesterday was a lot of fun, although it was busy, busy, busy!! first, carla and her friend kim stopped by for a visit.... then, about a half an hour after they left, sharlene, silas, and jazlyn were here... then, 15 minutes after they left, ja's mom rang up! so, it was one of those non-stop days, but much fun at the same time. i don't think that sharlene and i finished one conversation that we started! and, i should have never gotten out the train. one train, three kids?? you do the math.


then, this morning i had my post partum support group over at the family centre here in town. it starts at ten, which is a really decent hour when you have kids... and since keyzia usually has us up at 8, it's never too much of a problem, except of course the usual hectic getting ready to go anywhere stuff.

but, i was playing the "just ten more minutes" game this morning. you know the game, you look at the clock and you think, "ahhh, ten more minutes with my eyes shut isn't going to matter." well, let's just say that this morning it did matter!! ephraim was in bed with me, and i closed my eyes while he was nursing. the next thing i knew it was 10 to 9!! we had 40 minutes to get up, get showered, get dressed, have breakfast!! i had a brief panic moment... considered skipping mygroup (but only briefly!!), and then got my act together.

ephraim and keyzia both had to wait for breakfast until we got there, and ephraim had to cry a bit in the swing while i got ready, but we made it, clean and dressed, and virtually tear-free. keyzia was awesome. she actually co-operated, even though the poor kid must have been starving!!

but, it was well worth going. it was a great group today, and we watched this fabulously hilarious video.... good stuff, good stuff!! humour is definitely the best medicine!

then it was off to visit rebecca and abigail (ephraim's "fiancee") after keyzia's afternoon nap. they are only 6 days apart, and we have jokingly taken some "engagement" photos of the two of them together. i don't know though, they sure do make a cute couple!

so, while it was an incredibly busy day, it was good nonetheless, and hey, survivor is on tonight!!

oh dear.... catnip for the cats!!

we got some catnip triangles for the cats tonight, and we put them in keyzia's pants pockets before we got home. almost as soon as we walked in the door, they mobbed her! even whizzie was twining around her and meowing!! she thought it was great... she kept saying, "ollie, whizzie, ollie, whizzie." over and over again and going from one to the other to pat them. very cute. then, of course, we gave the boys the catnip, and they went nuts. tossing them around, rubbing their heads all over them....

ahhhh, just another exciting night at the wolters' house!

i just posted some pics of the barbecue that jen had for us yesterday.... ephraim was the man of the hour!! and much fun was had by all.

sunday mornings spent in bed with my hubby and the beastie's cold feet on my leg.... the leechie kicking and smiling in the middle. reading winnie the pooh.
